1. Firearms Purchases
All firearm sales are subject to strict regulatory compliance.
- Inspection Upon Arrival: Please inspect your firearm thoroughly at your receiving FFL dealer before completing the background check and transferring the item into your name.
- Non-Returnable Once Transferred: Once a firearm has been transferred to you by your FFL dealer, it is considered “used,” and we cannot accept returns for any reason.
- Refusal of Transfer: If you decide not to proceed with the transfer due to an issue with the firearm’s condition, you must refuse the transfer at your local FFL dealer. The dealer will then return the firearm to us.
- Defective Firearms: If you believe there is a defect that was not disclosed in the listing, please contact us immediately upon receipt at your FFL. We will work with you to resolve the issue under the manufacturer’s warranty or our own service guarantees.
2. Parts Kits and Accessories
We want you to be satisfied with your components.
- Return Window: Unopened, unused, and original-condition parts kits or accessories may be returned within 14 days of the delivery date.
- Restocking Fee: A 5% restocking fee applies to all non-defective returns to cover processing costs.
- Condition: Items must be returned in the exact condition they were shipped. Any signs of assembly, modification, or use will void your eligibility for a refund.
- Shipping Costs: The customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is found to be defective or the incorrect item was shipped.
3. Repair and Gunsmithing Services
At Iron Spec Kits, we take pride in our workmanship.
- Service Guarantee: All repair work performed by our gunsmiths is backed by a 30-day workmanship guarantee. If you experience an issue related to the specific repair performed within 30 days of returning the item to you, please contact us immediately.
- Non-Refundable Services: Because professional labor and specialized parts are consumed during the repair process, service fees are non-refundable once the work has been completed.
- Unclaimed Items: Per Idaho state law, items left unclaimed for more than 90 days after service completion and notification will be considered abandoned and may be sold to recover costs.
4. Exceptions and Final Sales
- Ammunition: For safety reasons, all ammunition sales are final. We cannot accept returns on ammunition.
- Consignment/Used Inventory: Firearms sold on consignment or as “used/as-is” are sold without further warranty. Please ask all questions regarding the condition of these specific items before purchase.
